    Senior Camo Engineer

    Description:

    We are looking for a SENIOR CAMO ENGINEER, who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

    The work place is in our Engineering office in Palma de Mallorca.

    Profile:

    Master Degree Aircraft Engineering or equivalent.

    EASA Part66 CAT C or B1 is a plus.

    5 years’ experience working in an Engineering environment CAMO or Part 145.

    - A320 experience, Level 3 course desirable.

    Experienced in work with AIRBUS & BOEING manuals and data sources.

    Fluent in Spanish and English is essential.

    - Good knowledge of EASA regulations.

    Previous experience within an EASA-OPS approved organization and familiarity with EASA Part M requirements.

    Experience dealing with EASA and AESA on airworthiness matters.

    Methodical, analytical minded and service-oriented.

    Attentive to details without losing sight of the whole picture of an airline operation.

    Capabilities:

    - Support the Head of Engineering in management, oversight and control of Volotea´s Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Organization in compliance with EASA and AESA requirements and Volotea’s procedures as defined in the CAME and other manuals.

    - Act as deputy for Engineering Manager.

    To provide immediate assistance, advice, and technical support to the Head of Engineering, Technical Director and MCC.

    To provide approved data and repair instruction from the TCH in order to support maintenance execution.

    Edition, review and update of the maintenance program, and submission to the authority for approval, if applicable.

    To provide support and advice to the technical teams during the planning and preparation for base checks and repairs.

    Ensure the compliance of planned maintenance according to the approved maintenance program.

    Evaluation of AD, SB, repairs and non-mandatory modifications ensuring that compliance with these modifications and repairs are according to EASA regulations.

    Implementation of any operational or airworthiness directive and any other requirements for continuous airworthiness issued by the Authority.

    Support in the analysis of the effectiveness of the maintenance program.

    Ensure that the applied modifications or repairs have been approved in accordance with Annex (Part 21) to Regulation (EC) No 1702/2003.

    Issuance of engineering orders and engineering bulletins.

    Determine empty weight and centre of gravity of each aircraft after reweighed, reconfiguration or recalculation and related notification of the Operations Department.

    Support in preparations for end of lease phase out and aircraft phase in are complete, the aircraft are compliant, and that financial exposure is minimised and managed accordingly.

    Finance Operations Manager

    The position will report directly to the Financial Planning and Analysis Director.

    Purpose of the Position

    Within the Finance department of Volotea and reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Director, the candidate will be in charge of Financial Planning and Control over the operations areas within the company.

    The candidate should bring strong proven controlling skills to strengthen financial controls and planning and aim to become a valued finance counterpart for the operations areas. 

    Profile:

    - Minimum 6-8 years of successful experience in Controlling / Financial Audit / Finance Business Partnering.

    - Business degree or Engineer + MBA required.

    - Excellent analytical skills.

    - Proactive, autonomous and results driven professional.

    - Fluent English and Spanish compulsory.

    - Advanced Excel. SAP knowledge.

    - Previous experience in operations strongly valued. Knowledge of the airline industry is a plus.

    Capabilities:

    Guarantee strong Financial Control over all aspects related to Operations (Maintenance, Fleet…).

    - Candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the month-end closing, budgeting and reporting processes for operations related costs lines.

    - Candidate will have 1 junior controller as a direct report and will rely on operations controllers embedded in the operation areas that he will have to actively supervise to ensure alignment with company financial objectives and delivery of high standard finance control.

    Ensure continuous roll-out of Cost Control initiatives / optimization plan across the organization ensuring delivery of objectives.

    Be a Finance Business Partner for the operations team (maintenance, flight operations etc.):

    - Provide sound financial analysis and recommendation for decision making

    - Propose and contribute in implementing process improvements to optimize results

    Operations Engineering Manager

    We are looking for a Flight Operations Engineering Manager who will be responsible for supporting and guaranteeing the compliance of all regulatory performance requirements for all current and potential operational needs.

    Leading a team of more than 6 people, s/he will be responsible of developing all flight operations documentation prior to the day of operation and ensure that the flight crew has all required documentation to operate Volotea airplanes in a safe, legal and cost effective manner.

    The role will report to the Flight Operations Director with regular interaction with the COO and other senior leaders. The ability to influence and work collaboratively with others is essential.

    Profile:

    - Aeronautical Engineer Master/Bachelor Degree.

    - Candidates will ideally have 5 years’ experience in airline flight operations department and high understanding of the aviation operational environment. An analytical and process-focused mind, as well as proven leadership and change management expertise.

    - Fluency in English language is required. Spanish, French and/or Italian a plus.

    - The role is based in Barcelona, Spain; however some travel within the Europe may be necessary. 

    Capabilities:

    - Airports and routes analysis and approval.
