    Operations Engineering Manager

    Description:

    We are looking for a Flight Operations Engineering Manager who will be responsible for supporting and guaranteeing the compliance of all regulatory performance requirements for all current and potential operational needs.

    Leading a team of more than 6 people, s/he will be responsible of developing all flight operations documentation prior to the day of operation and ensure that the flight crew has all required documentation to operate Volotea airplanes in a safe, legal and cost effective manner.

    The role will report to the Flight Operations Director with regular interaction with the COO and other senior leaders. The ability to influence and work collaboratively with others is essential.

    Profile:

    - Aeronautical Engineer Master/Bachelor Degree.

    - Candidates will ideally have 5 years’ experience in airline flight operations department and high understanding of the aviation operational environment. An analytical and process-focused mind, as well as proven leadership and change management expertise.

    - Fluency in English language is required. Spanish, French and/or Italian a plus.

    - The role is based in Barcelona, Spain; however some travel within the Europe may be necessary. 

    Ικανότητες:

    - Airports and routes analysis and approval.

    - Design and validation of special procedures for engine failure.

    - Aircraft performance (takeoff, landing, inflight).

    - Weight and balance, Load Control, and load sheet design.

    - CLC support.

    Finance Operations Controller

    Description:

    We are looking for a Finance Operations Controller who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

    Profile:

    - Minimum 2-3 years of successful experience in Controlling / Financial Audit / Finance Business Partnering.

    - Business degree or Engineer with previous financial experience.

    - Excellent data analysis skills.

    - Proactive, autonomous and results driven professional.

    - Fluent English and Spanish compulsory.

    - Advanced Excel, good knowledge of Powerpoint. SAP or Navision is a plus.

    Guarantee strong Financial Control over operations related aspects. Main responsibilities will be focused on:

    - Coordination of the month-end closing, variance analysis, budgeting and reporting processes.

    - Coordination with our Airports partners and Handling companies across our different geography’s.

    - Candidate will focus on Ground Operations area (including Handling, Navigation and Airport charges) but will also be involved in the rest of operating cost lines (such as Maintenance, Crew, etc.).

    Contribute to the roll-out of Cost Control initiatives projects by controlling and monitoring optimization plans in place and participating in new cost savings projects.

    Be a Finance Business Partner for the Operations team

    - Providing financial analysis and recommendation for decision making, preparation and presentation of ad-hoc business cases

    - Contributing in process improvement implementation

    - Providing all the necessary financial support to our internal clients

    Candidate will be part of the Finance department, working under the close supervision of the Finance Operations Manager and having significant exposure to the Operations department.

    Purpose of the Position

    Within the Finance department of Volotea and reporting to the Finance Manager.

    The candidate should bring good work planning skills, excellent interpersonal skills, process minded focus, and previous Accounts Receivable management experience including, invoicing, issuing of credit notes, collection of deposits, reconciliation of payments, control of ageing.

    Candidate will become a valued finance partner for the Commercial area, mainly the Groups/TTOO management Group.

    Profile:

    - Minimum 2-3 years of successful experience in Accounts Receivable management, including follow up with customers, ageing of balances.

    - Business degree preferred. Familiar with accounting.

    - Good financial acumen, process oriented, work planning skills.

    - Proactive, autonomous and results driven professional.

    - Fluent English and Spanish compulsory. French and Italian highly valued.

    - Good Excel skills. SAP or Navision is a plus.

    Flight Planner

    Description:

    Profile:

    - Familiarity with aircraft performance, international and EASA regulations, operations manual (OM), flight entry requirement, flight planning and dispatch.

    - Good IT skills. Experience in use of dispatch related software – flight planning systems (i.e. PPS, Jetplanner, LIDO, NavTech, etc.), SITA/AFTN communications, schedule/ops control systems (preferably AIMS) and MS Office applications, CFMU tools is a plus.

    - Minimum 1 year of experience in flight dispatch and/or operations control environment, preferably related to worldwide flight scheduled operations (Flight Dispatcher course/license, Pilot license, Aeronautical Engineer degree are an asset).

    - Ability to interpret weather and NOTAM information as well as airport/airspace NAV charts (preferably LHS LIDO charts).

    - Willingness to work in rotating shifts (24/7).

    - Able to work diligently, independently and reliably.

    - Good communication skills in Spanish and English. Italian or French knowledge are a plus.

    Inside the Operations Control Center, The Flight Planner is responsible for the planning and execution of flights. Duties include:

    - Analysis of the operational environment of the flight through NOTAM’s, Aeronautical publications and weather reports.

    - Preparation of the Operational Flight Plan according to legal regulations, company policies and the environmental conditions expected for the flight.

    - Filing the associated plan with the appropriate Air Traffic Service Unit.

    - Updating flight plans as required to cope with delays, diversions, MEL restrictions and other abnormal operations.

    - Flight monitoring of all airborne flights.

    - Updating and optimizing the flight plans to reduce ATC delays and ensure the most cost effective routings are being utilized.

    - Coordinating with crew for fuel/route and aircraft performance requirements.

    - Coordinate with airports for runway slots in case of operational changes.
