Finance Functional Analyst

Description:

We are currently looking for a Finance functional Analyst within our department of Finance, who is used to interact in different cultural environments and who wants to work in a challenging high- growth environment.

The work place is Barcelona headquarters. The position will report directly to the Controller. The selected candidate will be part of the Finance department being exposed to a wider range of finance projects.

Profile:

Minimum 3 years of successful experience in Information Technology consulting (with successful business intelligence implementation) or Financial Information Management within companies of relevant size / complexity.

Previous experience in Controlling or Financial audit would also be a plus.

Business or Science degree with previous IT or Financial experience.

Excellent information technology and data analysis skills.

 Proactive, autonomous and results driven.

Fluent English and Spanish compulsory.

Advanced in BI solutions and Excel. Exposure to Navision is a plus.

Cooperation and team work to successfully work with other departments (especially IT).

- Lead projects for the finance area to suggest and implement the most adequate information technology solutions, to improve Volotea´s financial information management with:

       - Information and reporting accuracy

       - Efficiency in generating this information

       - Flexibility and robustness of the information coming from different business partners.

- Define what the key information of month-end results is / KPI’s, route profitability analytical tools, budgeting processes, treasury forecast, with the controlling team, and adapt the IT tools to get it easily.

- Participate in the functional design of the different solutions taking the requirements of the different business areas and discuss with the IT external supplier potential different solutions.

- Ensure the quality of the different delivered tools and do all the testing to ensure that the information is correctly organized.

- Analyze all the financial information to create the appropriate reports to support the controlling area.

Marketing Country Manager

Profile:

The candidate will:

- Develop, implement and monitor the local marketing plan for our top markets in France, Italy, Spain, DACH or Greece (markets will be assigned depending on the final candidate).

- Nurture our relationship with top local Airport teams and leverage all opportunities of collaboration with them. Ensure a good brand visibility at the airport facilities.

- Liaise with the different local marketing & media agencies in order to define, implement and monitor all marketing activities and advertisement campaigns.

- Create relationships with local key partners and influencers.

- Work in close collaboration with social media, communications, brand, revenue and sales teams to ensure full alignment and consistency in the implementation of the different initiatives.

- Use analytics and manage reporting of KPIs to monitor our campaigns.

In order to succeed in this role the candidate must have the following:

- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in marketing teams and/or project management (experience in similar position or in airline industry will be valuated).

- Dynamic, curious, proactive.

- Good knowledge of GDS and airline fares

Organized and rigorous.

Used to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.

Ability to work in a team and in different cultural environments.

- Analytical skills to understand the requirements of the media we work on.

MCC Duty Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a MCC Duty Engineer who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is Barcelona Headquarters, but requires regular travel to support Line Stations and occasional AOG recovery.

The position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and ultimately to the Head of Engineering and the Technical Director.

Profile:

- EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on A320 family (CFM56) and Boeing B717 will be a plus.

- Five Years relevant work experience, troubleshooting experience will be considered a plus.

- Previous experience in Maintenance Control, Technical representative, Airline Engineering or Line Maintenance.

- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.

- Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively to all related parties both verbally and written.

- Fluent English and Spanish compulsory, Italian and French will be considered a plus.

- Self-disciplined, highly-organized individual able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and cooperative attitude.

- Working knowledge of computer systems and programs (especially Microsoft Word and Excel).

- Willing to work on 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

- Experience in AMOS and AIMS will be considered a plus.

- EASA Regulation (Part M, Part 145), EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates in force will be considered a plus.

- Driver’s License.

Day to day Maintenance Operations Control:

- 24/7 monitoring of Aircraft Technical Status.

- Technical support to Crews providing immediate real time expert advice and guidance on interpretation of the MEL dispatch and Technical Troubleshooting.

- Management of maintenance assistance in remote stations.

- AOG monitoring and recovery, Fault Isolation and Parts Request.

- Control and rectification of Deferred Defects in due time, having direct impact on the operational performance of our fleet.

- Fleet Technical Status update and communication of the Operational Limitations.

- Airbus Fleet condition monitoring through AIRMAN (Aircraft Maintenance Analysis), in order to propose the necessary actions to rectify findings and areas of non-compliance.

- Traceability, Analysis and Troubleshooting of Intermittent Faults across the fleet.

- Technical delay follow-up during daily operation.

- Scheduled maintenance supervision to ensure performance of the Line Maintenance contractors is in compliance with Volotea standards.

- Primary interface between the maintenance department, OCC and Flight Crews on a daily basis. Support to Operations control to minimise the schedule disruption.

- Line Stations support on site.

- Support on non-routine maintenance tasks (e.g. Engine changes).

We wish:

As a Maintenance Control Center Duty Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the Airworthiness of Volotea’s fleet, composed of Boeing B717-200 and Airbus A319, by proactive control of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification. This would be in accordance with Company, Manufacturer and Civil Aviation Authorities procedures and legislation.

Content Manager

Description:

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, and in tight relationship with the Brand Director and the Social Media Manager, his/ her mission will be to participate in the definition of the content strategy to increase our current levels of online organic traffic in both our social networks and website, as well as lead the production and implementation of the resulting Content and Editorial Plan in France, Italy and Spain.

Profile:

The candidate will:

- Develop a content strategy aligned to fulfill short and mid-term goals.

- Work in close collaboration with brand and social media teams to ensure the correct development and implementation of content series.

- Stay up-to-date on all emerging content formats and identify opportunities within them.

- Create relationships with concrete media partners and identify key brand values and audiences to connect with.

- Build the brand’s content storytelling: select and propose topics of content.

- Manage and lead external creative and production partners to plan and develop content.

- Define and coordinate our Ambassadors’ editorial line to push SEO and engagement in Social Media.

- Edit, amend and refine the proposed content created by copywriters, scriptwriters, writers, as well as posts for Social Media.

- Use analytics and content management systems to analyze traffic to our website.

- Manage reporting of KPIs with the goal of optimizing content in agreement with SEO and engagement goals.

- Ensure full legal compliance for all content created (rights usage/clearance, data protection, etc.)

In order to succeed in this role the candidate must have the following:

- Excellent writing skills and a trained mind for audiovisuals and broadcast.

- Experience in preproduction, production and post-production of video and photography.

- Expert know-how of digital media and follow up on news and trends.

- An eye for good editorial content.

- 2 years previous experience as Content Manager (portfolio required).

- In-depth understanding of Social Media, especially Facebook.

- Ability to work in a team and to make team members (internal or external) provide their best output.

- Analytical skills to understand the requirements of the media we work on.

- Excellent command of English (written and spoken). French and/or Italian are a plus.
