Short Term Planner Engineer

Description:

Profile:

- Aeronautical engineering degree

- Ideally, previous experience in Airline operations department and high understanding of the

Long Term Planner Engineer

Description:

The position will report directly to the Senior CAMO Engineer and ultimately to Head of Engineering & Maintenance.

Profile:

- Middle level of technical education; technical degree desirable

- Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus

- Three years planning experience within a Part-145 or Part-M approved organization;

- High attention to details and fast learner

- A320 GenFam training (Level I) or Type training on a similar type of same category
desireable;

- Thorough knowledge of Part-M regulation (Part-21 is  a plus)

- Experience and knowledge of principles of development and amendment of an Aircraft
Maintenance program including knowledge of MSG-3 principles

- Detailed knowledge of the Aircraft Maintenance Program and its source documents

MCC Duty Engineer

We are looking for a MCC Duty Engineer who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is Barcelona Headquarters, however requires limited/regular travel to support Line Stations and occasional AOG recovery.

The position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and ultimately to the Head of Engineering and Maintenance and the Technical Director.

Purpose of the Position

As a Maintenance Control Center Duty Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the Airworthiness of Volotea’s fleet, composed of Boeing B717-200 and Airbus A319, by proactive control of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification. This would be in accordance with Company, Manufacturer and Civil Aviation Authorities procedures and legislation.

Profile:

EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on A320 family (CFM56), Boeing B717 will be a plus.

- Five Years relevant work experience, troubleshooting experience will be considered a plus.

- Previous experience in Maintenance Control, Technical representative, Airline Engineering or Line Maintenance.

- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.

- Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively to all related parties both verbally and written.

- Fluent English compulsory, Spanish, Italian and French will be considered a plus.

- Self-disciplined, highly-organized individual able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and cooperative attitude.

- Working knowledge of computer systems and programs (especially Microsoft Word and Excel).

- Willing to work on 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Capabilities:

Day to day Maintenance Operations Control:

24/7 monitoring of Aircraft Technical Status.

- Technical support to Crews providing immediate real time expert advice and guidance on interpretation of the MEL dispatch and Technical Troubleshooting.

- Management of maintenance assistance in remote stations.

- AOG monitoring and recovery, Fault Isolation and Parts Request.

- Control and rectification of Deferred Defects in due time, having direct impact on the operational performance of our fleet.

- Fleet Technical Status update and communication of the Operational Limitations.

- Airbus Fleet condition monitoring through AIRMAN (Aircraft Maintenance Analysis), in order to propose the necessary actions to rectify findings and areas of non-compliance.

- Traceability, Analysis and Troubleshooting of Intermittent Faults across the fleet.

- Technical delay follow-up during daily operation.

- Scheduled maintenance supervision to ensure performance of the Line Maintenance contractors is in compliance with Volotea standards.

- Primary interface between the maintenance department, OCC and Flight Crews on a daily basis. Support to Operations control to minimise the schedule disruption.

- Line Stations support on site.

- Support on non-routine maintenance tasks (e.g. Engine changes).

Capabilities:

The work place is Verona Line Station (Italy).

Profile:

- EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on Boeing 717-200. Airbus A320 series will be considered a plus.

- Five Years relevant work and troubleshooting experience.

- Previous experience in aviation MRO environment: Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Technical representative or Airline Engineering.

Capabilities:

- Verifying that all work required by the customer has been accomplished during the particular line maintenance activity or work package in accordance with the procedures specified in the Volotea MOE. Also, assess the impact of any work not been carried, and agreeing with the operator to defer such work to another specified check or time limit.

- Verifying that there are no non-compliances that may hazard the flight safety.

- Ensuring that the release certificate and/or technical log statement contains all the necessary details and reference numbers, including details of maintenance which was not completed but allows a return to service within the approved aircraft limitations.

- Verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.

- Ensuring that there is an instruction to the flight crew placed in the technical log where crew actions are necessary to verify aircraft airworthiness.

- Complying with Volotea internal and mandatory reporting requirements.

Offer:

As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer you will be in charge of carrying out the line maintenance of Volotea’s B717 fleet, as established by EASA Part 145 and other equivalents from other aeronautical authorities. You will carry out airworthiness maintenance tasks specific to the qualification level of the LAE collective, and carry out support maintenance tasks of the qualification level of the LAE collective in relation to the planning and control of production, data and maintenance records, utilities and tools.

We are looking for a Senior Manager Supply Chain and Materials, who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is in our head office in Barcelona. The position is reporting to the Technical Director.

Profile:

- Degree in relevant field with at least 7 years of relevant Aerospace Supply Chain experience.Candidates with procurement experience will have an added advantage

- Strong understanding and practical insight of the end to end supply chain process flow
specially in purchasing and logistic

- Strong analytical capabilities and excellent negotiation skills

- Working knowledge of AMOS, MS Office and Navision
