Ground Ops Support Agent

Description:

Volotea is the newest and fastest-growing low-cost airline in Europe, focused on connecting medium and small-sized European cities. We are looking for Ground Ops Support Agent who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment

The work place is Barcelona headquarters.

The position will report directly to the Head of Ground Ops Support .

Profile:

- Experience working at the airport on different roles (pax service, flight dispatcher).

- High School degree.

- Fluent English.

- Italian / French considered.

- Team working spirit.

- Quick learning.

Capabilities:

- Perform load sheets (Mass & Balance).

- Manage of overbooking.

- Organize charter flights performance.

- Execute pax assistance in case of disruptions.

- Fulfill daily reports regarding the operation.

Finance Operations Controller

Description:

We are looking for a Finance Operations Controller who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is Barcelona headquarters. The position will report directly to the Finance Operations Manager. 

Profile:

- Minimum 2-3 years of successful experience in Controlling / Financial Audit / Finance Business Partnering.

- Business degree or Engineer with previous financial experience.

- Excellent data analysis skills.

- Proactive, autonomous and results driven professional.

- Fluent English and Spanish compulsory.

- Advanced Excel, good knowledge of Powerpoint. SAP or Navision is a plus.

- Previous experience in airline industry will be positively valued but is not compulsory.

Capabilities:

Guarantee strong Financial Control over operations related aspects. Main responsibilities will be focused on:

- Coordination of the month-end closing, variance analysis, budgeting and reporting processes.

- Coordination with our Airports partners and Handling companies across our different geography’s.

- Candidate will focus on Ground Operations area (including Handling, Navigation and Airport charges) but will also be involved in the rest of operating cost lines (such as Maintenance, Crew, etc.).

Contribute to the roll-out of Cost Control initiatives projects by controlling and monitoring optimization plans in place and participating in new cost savings projects.

Be a Finance Business Partner for the Operations team

- Providing financial analysis and recommendation for decision making, preparation and presentation of ad-hoc business cases

- Contributing in process improvement implementation

- Providing all the necessary financial support to our internal clients

Candidate will be part of the Finance department, working under the close supervision of the Finance Operations Manager and having significant exposure to the Operations department.

Within the Finance department of Volotea and reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, the candidate will be in charge of Financial Planning, Control and Business Partnering with the Operations’ department.

Logistics Supervisor

Description:

We are looking for a proactive person, who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment as Logistics Supervisor.

The work place is Barcelona headquarters, where HR transactional services are coordinated for the different countries.

The position will report directly to the Logistics Manager and will have a team of 1 purchasing dpt. + 1 repair dpt. + 2 internship 

Profile:

- Bachelor's Degree.

- A minimum of 5 years of Operations or Logistics experience.

- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Bilingual Fluent in written, Spanish and English, French and/or Italian a plus.

- Intermediate PC and database skills, knowledge of AMOS and SAP a plus.

- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.

- Knowledge and experience with procurement procedures and communications with Airbus COS.

- Ability to work flexible hours.

Capabilities:

- Ensure effective and timely implementation of all logistics daily operational goals inclusive of shipping functions and inventory management.

- Ensure to process orders (purchases and repairs) and on-time delivery by network of courier companies and warehouses

- Ensure a Daily control of replenishment of CRITICAL items in all stations.

- Supervise and coordinate the most efficient form possible all the AOG and MEL's requested by our Maintenance Control Center. (during office hours)

- Responsible for cross communication between shifts.

- Coordinates logistics support requirements of engineering, maintenance and other functional areas.

- Plan, coordinate, and manage the performance of physical inventories.

- Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.

- Communicate and negotiate with freight companies to maintain carriers that benefit operations from a cost, quality and on time delivery perspective

- Manages warehouse resources, shipping supplies and other consumables, including minor facility maintenance.

- Plan, coordinate and manage the Heavy Maintenance checks in Hangar with the aid of the manager.

- Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
