Traffic Programme Manager

Description:

Traffic Programme Manager Volotea headquarters are located in Barcelona, Spain, being its principal markets Italy, France, Spain and Greece. We are looking for a Traffic Programme Manager reporting to the Chief of Cost and Operational Performance. The work place is in Barcelona Headquarters.

Profile:

- Strong technical knowledge on flight’s programmes.

- Programme & Project Management experience in the aviation industry will be very valued.

- Project planning, forecasting & reporting to internal and clients.

Capabilities:

- Managing the continue revision of monthly traffic program in coordination with OCC, Short Term Planning, Crew Control and Crew roster. Traffic program should constantly be adapted to any changes with regard to aircraft and crew availability and eventual contingency plans.

- Accept and sign off the monthly program when delivered from Network Planning.

- Ensure the delivery of the daily traffic program 32 hours in advance (16.00LT) with agreed levels of Stand by Capacity both with regard to Aircrafts as Standby Crew. Achieve acceptance and sign off from OCC.

- Coordinate any contingency known in advance (Strikes, bad weather, etc.) and ensure an adapted traffic program and resources in accordance of circumstances.

- Coordinate, well ahead, with the different departments in Volotea (Commercial, Revenue Management, Client, and Ground Ops, OCC, Short Term Planning, Roster Department) etc., changes in the traffic program like Cancellations, sub-charters, or Scheduled changes in order to guarantee delivery of the daily traffic program.

- Propose, search and negotiate sub-charters, in the event of necessity to guarantee correct traffic execution and delivery of traffic program, and after previous authorization from COO or CCPO, until Day –32 hours.

Profile:

- Act as deputy for Head of Engineering.

- To provide immediate assistance, advice, and technical support to the Head of Engineering, Technical Director and MCC.

- To provide approved data and repair instruction from the Type Certificate Holder in order to support maintenance execution.

- Edition, review and update of the maintenance program, and submission to the authority for approval.

- To provide support and advice to the technical teams during the planning and preparation for base checks and repairs.

- Ensure the compliance of planned maintenance according to the approved maintenance program.

- Evaluation of AD, SB, repairs and non-mandatory modifications ensuring that compliance with these modifications and repairs are according to EASA regulations.

- Implementation of any operational or airworthiness directive and any other requirements for continuous airworthiness issued by the Authority.

- Support in the analysis of the effectiveness of the maintenance program.

- Ensure that the applied modifications or repairs have been approved in accordance with Annex (Part 21) to Regulation (EC) No 1702/2003.

- Issuance of engineering orders and engineering bulletins.

- Determine empty weight and centre of gravity of each aircraft after reweighed, reconfiguration or recalculation and related notification of the Operations Department.

- Support in preparations for end of lease phase out and aircraft phase in are complete, the aircraft are compliant, and that financial exposure is minimized and managed accordingly.

Capabilities:

- Master Degree Aircraft Engineering or equivalent.

- 5 years’ experience working in an Engineering environment in CAMO.

- EASA Part66 CAT C or B1 is a plus.

- A320 experience, Level 3 course desirable. Boeing 717 experience is a plus.

- Experienced in working with AIRBUS & BOEING manuals and data sources.

- Fluent in Spanish and English is essential.

Purpose of the Position

As a Maintenance Control Center Duty Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the Airworthiness of Volotea’s fleet, composed of Boeing B717-200 and Airbus A319, by proactive control of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification. This would be in accordance with Company, Manufacturer and Civil Aviation Authorities procedures and legislation.

Profile:

EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on A320 family (CFM56), Boeing B717 will be a plus.

- Five Years relevant work experience, troubleshooting experience will be considered a plus.

- Previous experience in Maintenance Control, Technical representative, Airline Engineering or Line Maintenance.

- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.

- Ensuring that there is an instruction to the flight crew placed in the technical log where crew actions are necessary to verify aircraft airworthiness.

- Complying with Volotea internal and mandatory reporting requirements.

Offer:

As a Mechanic (Unlicensed Aircraft Engineer) you will be in charge of carrying out the line maintenance of Volotea’s B717 fleet, as established by EASA Part 145 and other equivalents of other aeronautical authorities. You will carry out airworthiness maintenance tasks specific to the qualification level of the LAE collective, and carry out support maintenance tasks of the qualification level of the LAE collective in relation to the planning and control of production, data and maintenance records, utilities and tools.
