HR Administration & Payroll Specialist

Description:

We are looking for a proactive, passionate and yet very responsible and rigorous person who wants to learn and develop him/herself in this challenging environment as HR Administration & Payroll Specialist based in Barcelona.

The position will report directly to the HR Transactional Services Manager.

Profile:

- Degree in Law / Labour Sciences and Human Resources/ Business Administration / Economics or similar

- 1-2 years of experience minimum in HR Administration & Payroll.

- Fluent English is an indispensable requisite. French and/or Italian will be a plus.

- Advanced computer user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint...). The level of expertise in Excel has to be very high. This requisite is absolutely essential.

- High quality service to internal customers.

- Problem solving, initiative, work quickly and without errors.

Capabilities:

- Manage new hires documentation.

- Make the contracts for Spanish and Italian employees, transfers agreements, employee certificates, upgrade letters.

- Manage and maintain contracts, personnel files and other employee information both in physic and digital format

- Update the employee database through Success Factors.

- Maintain the reliability’s information in SSFF using the reporting tool and the maintenance protocol.

- Make and manage internship agreements.

- Follow up contract/internship agreements and probationary period expiration.

- Control and check the Spanish and Italian payroll (variables, final settlements…). Communications to the official institutions (Social Security, SEPE, Tax Administration, etc.). Follow up of Sickness, labor accidents, maternity leave, unpaid leaves, etc.

- Fulfill of National and industry Surveys.

Aviation Parts Logistics Buyer

We are looking for AVIATION PARTS LOGISTICS BUYER who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is Barcelona headquarters.

The position will report directly to the LOGISTICS MANAGER.

Profile:

- 1-2 years of experience of a comparable procurement role

- Experience working in the aviation industry

- Advanced level of English. French and Italian is a plus.

- Ability to work in a highly demanding environment. Experience working with multi-locations in different countries

- Ability to build relationships at all levels in the organization, establish trust and respond to staff with urgency, and in a thoughtful and sensitive way.

Capabilities:

- Support the airline operations providing spares parts for the B717 and A319 fleet, from our stock or buying from main suppliers (OEMs) using the most common search tools (ILS, etc.)

- Assist Logistics Supervisor/Manager in all their duties, providing material services for unscheduled (AOG, MEL, DDL, CDDL), scheduled inquiries and stock replenishment.

- Evaluate alternate options to support material requirements for heavy maintenance events, which may include robbing & expediting material, material purchase(s). Work with material planning if usage is increasing and reorder planning need to be adjusted.

- Manage multiple high priority requests in an organized urgent manner while providing excellent support to daily Operations.

- Manage orders in AMOS per maintenance requests to ensure material is delivered to required destination within timeframe requirements & update with regular status until part is received.

- Manage relation with the suppliers and develop new relationships. Trade inventory by means of exchange, loan & sale.

- Negotiate best terms including price, delivery and quality.

- Initiate, coordinate and track shipments in cooperation with freight forwarders, interacting with third party logistics service providers.

- After a first period of training of approx. 3 moths, the candidate will be requested to cover for AOG shift during the weekend on a rotating basis (every 5 weeks).

Logistics Supervisor

The position will report directly to the Logistics Manager and will have a team of 1 purchasing dpt. + 1 repair dpt. + 2 internship 

Profile:

- Bachelor's Degree.

- A minimum of 5 years of Operations or Logistics experience.

- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Bilingual Fluent in written, Spanish and English, French and/or Italian a plus.

- Intermediate PC and database skills, knowledge of AMOS and SAP a plus.

- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.

- Knowledge and experience with procurement procedures and communications with Airbus COS.

- Ability to work flexible hours.

Capabilities:

- Ensure effective and timely implementation of all logistics daily operational goals inclusive of shipping functions and inventory management.

- Ensure to process orders (purchases and repairs) and on-time delivery by network of courier companies and warehouses

- Ensure a Daily control of replenishment of CRITICAL items in all stations.

- Supervise and coordinate the most efficient form possible all the AOG and MEL's requested by our Maintenance Control Center. (during office hours)

- Responsible for cross communication between shifts.

- Coordinates logistics support requirements of engineering, maintenance and other functional areas.

- Plan, coordinate, and manage the performance of physical inventories.

- Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.

- Communicate and negotiate with freight companies to maintain carriers that benefit operations from a cost, quality and on time delivery perspective

- Manages warehouse resources, shipping supplies and other consumables, including minor facility maintenance.

- Plan, coordinate and manage the Heavy Maintenance checks in Hangar with the aid of the manager.

- Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.

Profile:

- 2-3 years of work experience in office or travel department (experience in similar position or in airline industry will be valuated). 

- Dynamic & proactive.

- High analytical skills

- Good command of commonly reporting and analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, BI, etc.)

- Advanced English and Spanish. A good level of Italian or French would be highly valuated.

Manager Aircraft Transition
