Long Term Planner Engineer

Profilo:

- Middle level of technical education; technical degree desirable

- Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus

- Three years planning experience within a Part-145 or Part-M approved organization;

- A320 GenFam training (Level I) or Type training on a similar type of same category

The work place is Barcelona Headquarters, however requires limited/regular travel to support Line Stations and occasional AOG recovery.

The position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and ultimately to the Head of Engineering and Maintenance and the Technical Director.

Purpose of the Position

As a Maintenance Control Center Duty Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the Airworthiness of Volotea’s fleet, composed of Boeing B717-200 and Airbus A319, by proactive control of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification. This would be in accordance with Company, Manufacturer and Civil Aviation Authorities procedures and legislation.

Profilo:

EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on A320 family (CFM56), Boeing B717 will be a plus.

- Five Years relevant work experience, troubleshooting experience will be considered a plus.

- Previous experience in Maintenance Control, Technical representative, Airline Engineering or Line Maintenance.

- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.

- Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively to all related parties both verbally and written.

- Fluent English compulsory, Spanish, Italian and French will be considered a plus.

- Self-disciplined, highly-organized individual able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and cooperative attitude.

- Working knowledge of computer systems and programs (especially Microsoft Word and Excel).

- Willing to work on 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Capacità:

Day to day Maintenance Operations Control:

24/7 monitoring of Aircraft Technical Status.

- Technical support to Crews providing immediate real time expert advice and guidance on interpretation of the MEL dispatch and Technical Troubleshooting.

- Management of maintenance assistance in remote stations.

- AOG monitoring and recovery, Fault Isolation and Parts Request.

- Control and rectification of Deferred Defects in due time, having direct impact on the operational performance of our fleet.

- Fleet Technical Status update and communication of the Operational Limitations.

- Airbus Fleet condition monitoring through AIRMAN (Aircraft Maintenance Analysis), in order to propose the necessary actions to rectify findings and areas of non-compliance.

- Traceability, Analysis and Troubleshooting of Intermittent Faults across the fleet.

- Technical delay follow-up during daily operation.

- Scheduled maintenance supervision to ensure performance of the Line Maintenance contractors is in compliance with Volotea standards.

- Primary interface between the maintenance department, OCC and Flight Crews on a daily basis. Support to Operations control to minimise the schedule disruption.

- Line Stations support on site.

- Support on non-routine maintenance tasks (e.g. Engine changes).

Capacità:

- Verifying that all work required by the customer has been accomplished during the particular line maintenance activity or work package in accordance with the procedures specified in the Volotea MOE. Also, assess the impact of any work not been carried, and agreeing with the operator to defer such work to another specified check or time limit.

- Verifying that there are no non-compliances that may hazard the flight safety.

- Ensuring that the release certificate and/or technical log statement contains all the necessary details and reference numbers, including details of maintenance which was not completed but allows a return to service within the approved aircraft limitations.

- Verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.

- Ensuring that there is an instruction to the flight crew placed in the technical log where crew actions are necessary to verify aircraft airworthiness.

- Complying with Volotea internal and mandatory reporting requirements.

Offriamo:

As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer you will be in charge of carrying out the line maintenance of Volotea’s B717 fleet, as established by EASA Part 145 and other equivalents from other aeronautical authorities. You will carry out airworthiness maintenance tasks specific to the qualification level of the LAE collective, and carry out support maintenance tasks of the qualification level of the LAE collective in relation to the planning and control of production, data and maintenance records, utilities and tools.

Inside the Operations Control Center, Duty Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of flights, as well as managing operational disruptions within the flight program in a safe and efficient way.

Profilo:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in flight dispatch and or operations control environment, preferably related to worldwide flight scheduled operations (Flight Dispatcher, Pilot license, as well as ETOPS experience are an asset)

- Familiarity with aircraft performance, international and EASA regulations, operations manual (OM), flight entry requirement, flight planning and dispatch

We are looking for a Senior Manager Production, who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

Profilo:

- EASA Part 66 CAT B1/B2 A320 family mandatory, Aeronautical engineering degree is a plus.

- Fluency in English is essential. Spanish desirable.

- Profound Knowledge of all areas of aircraft maintenance according to EASA Part M and Part 145

- 10 years relevant work experience A320 family maintenance operations, including line maintenance and managing of teams of technicians. Troubleshooting experience mandatory.

- Previous maintenance control experience would be an advantage.

- Experience in LCC environment.

- Teamplayer.

- Ability to work in intense environment.

- Ability to multi-task in a generally quick-paced environment.

- Working knowledge of AMOS, MS Office and AIMS.

- Good communicator and ability to relate well with individuals at all levels and functions in a multi-cultured environment.

- Methodical, analytical minded and service-oriented.

- Attentive to details without losing sight of the whole picture of an airline operation.

- Ability to work under pressure.

Capacità:

- S/he will be responsible for the management and control of all outsourced and insourced line maintenance activities. This includes Maintenance Control (MCC) ,  Short-term Planning,  contractor relationship with outsourced maintenance providers, Volotea´s P145,  coordination with engineering, material department , operations control and flight operations.. 

- S/he will report to the Technical Director in our Barcelona offices, and will have operational, technical, management and financial duties.

- Typical tasks include:

- Manage and control delivery of outsourced and insourced line maintenance services.

- Manage people and processes in our P145, MCC and Short-term Planning to maximize the technical dispatch reliability and optimize cooperation with to OCC and Flight Crews.

- Direct troubleshooting and recovery efforts during AOGs.

- Control AOG, delay and cancellation related maintenance costs.

- Execute the flight schedule (from maintenance perspective).

- Continuous monitoring of aircraft technical status to minimize repair time and costs.

- Monitor Deferred Defects and MEL Items across fleet and manage swift rectification
Continuous control and improvement of AOG recovery process.

- Manage and control delivery of outsourced line maintenance services.

Profilo:

- +5-7 years full cycle recruitment with strong experience in massive recruitment processes.

- Must be able to demonstrate successful and creative use of social, professional, and internet networking sites to identify and source candidates. Previous use and knowledge of recruiting tools.

- High experience performing personal interviews and Assessment Center day.

- Effective Internet skills to include search expertise, search techniques, and creative/innovative researching knowledge.

- Understand recruitment employment law (France).

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create and maintain strong partnerships.

- Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills.

- Strong strategic thinking and creativity.

- Previous experience in the aviation industry will be a plus.

- Availability to travel frequently to Volotea bases in France and to Barcelona HQ is required.

Capacità:

- Manage full cycle of France Cabin Crew recruitment process from specification through employment offer.

- Identify sources of potential candidates by networking with professional organizations, community agencies, colleges/universities, different sources and other networks in France.

- Coordinate and manage the Recruitment Day at different schools, Universities and/or events to introduce the company and Cabin Crew position.

- Represent the company at job fairs and other outreach efforts.

- Lead Volotea online and social media strategy in recruiting as well as identifying channels with highest ROI for Volotea

- Review the employee branding strategy in collaboration with HR Department and Strategy.

- Ensure recruitment records are kept in accordance with compliance standards and documented within the applicant tracking system.

- Prepare recruitment documentation, reports and metrics in conformance to established processes.

- Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives such as ensuring Volotea has an appealing value proposition for candidates that is in line with company strategy or developing partnerships with sourcing and training institutions

- Work closely with Volotea HR team in headquarters to support them with different HR projects.
