  • What food / drink transportation restrictions exist on board or in checked baggage?

    Volotea permits solid foods to be carried on board. However, the country of destination may prohibit certain types of foods from entering the country, and so you are advised to consult the regulations for your destination.

    You may take liquids in your hand baggage, including gels, creams, pastes and liquid foods (such as jelly or Jell-O), provided they are stored in hermetically sealed individual containers no greater than 100 ml. They must be carried in a transparent plastic bag no larger than 20 x 20 cm. Passengers may take up to 1000 ml (e.g. 10 x 100 ml) in total.

There are strict controls and procedures to follow with regard to transporting certain animal-based products (meat, milk and related products) into the European Union and other countries.
