The position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and ultimately to the Head of Engineering and Maintenance and the Technical Director.

Purpose of the Position

As a Maintenance Control Center Duty Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the Airworthiness of Volotea’s fleet, composed of Boeing B717-200 and Airbus A319, by proactive control of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification. This would be in accordance with Company, Manufacturer and Civil Aviation Authorities procedures and legislation.

Profile:

EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on A320 family (CFM56), Boeing B717 will be a plus.

- Five Years relevant work experience, troubleshooting experience will be considered a plus.

- Previous experience in Maintenance Control, Technical representative, Airline Engineering or Line Maintenance.

- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.

- Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively to all related parties both verbally and written.

- Fluent English compulsory, Spanish, Italian and French will be considered a plus.

- Self-disciplined, highly-organized individual able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and cooperative attitude.

- Working knowledge of computer systems and programs (especially Microsoft Word and Excel).

- Airbus Fleet condition monitoring through AIRMAN (Aircraft Maintenance Analysis), in order to propose the necessary actions to rectify findings and areas of non-compliance.

- Traceability, Analysis and Troubleshooting of Intermittent Faults across the fleet.

- Technical delay follow-up during daily operation.

- Scheduled maintenance supervision to ensure performance of the Line Maintenance contractors is in compliance with Volotea standards.

- Primary interface between the maintenance department, OCC and Flight Crews on a daily basis. Support to Operations control to minimise the schedule disruption.

- Line Stations support on site.

- Support on non-routine maintenance tasks (e.g. Engine changes).

- Verifying that all work required by the customer has been accomplished during the particular line maintenance activity or work package in accordance with the procedures specified in the Volotea MOE. Also, assess the impact of any work not been carried, and agreeing with the operator to defer such work to another specified check or time limit.

- Verifying that there are no non-compliances that may hazard the flight safety.

- Ensuring that the release certificate and/or technical log statement contains all the necessary details and reference numbers, including details of maintenance which was not completed but allows a return to service within the approved aircraft limitations.

- Verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.

- Ensuring that there is an instruction to the flight crew placed in the technical log where crew actions are necessary to verify aircraft airworthiness.

- Complying with Volotea internal and mandatory reporting requirements.

Offer:

As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer you will be in charge of carrying out the line maintenance of Volotea’s B717 fleet, as established by EASA Part 145 and other equivalents from other aeronautical authorities. You will carry out airworthiness maintenance tasks specific to the qualification level of the LAE collective, and carry out support maintenance tasks of the qualification level of the LAE collective in relation to the planning and control of production, data and maintenance records, utilities and tools.

Profile:

OCC Duty Manager

Inside the Operations Control Center, Duty Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of flights, as well as managing operational disruptions within the flight program in a safe and efficient way.

Profile:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in flight dispatch and or operations control environment, preferably related to worldwide flight scheduled operations (Flight Dispatcher, Pilot license, as well as ETOPS experience are an asset)

Profile:

- +5-7 years full cycle recruitment with strong experience in massive recruitment processes.

- Must be able to demonstrate successful and creative use of social, professional, and internet networking sites to identify and source candidates. Previous use and knowledge of recruiting tools.

- High experience performing personal interviews and Assessment Center day.

- Effective Internet skills to include search expertise, search techniques, and creative/innovative researching knowledge.

- Understand recruitment employment law (France).

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create and maintain strong partnerships.

- Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills.

- Strong strategic thinking and creativity.

- Previous experience in the aviation industry will be a plus.

- Availability to travel frequently to Volotea bases in France and to Barcelona HQ is required.

- Fluent English and French is an indispensable requisite. Spanish and/or Italian will be a plus.

- Manage full cycle of France Cabin Crew recruitment process from specification through employment offer.

- Identify sources of potential candidates by networking with professional organizations, community agencies, colleges/universities, different sources and other networks in France.

- Coordinate and manage the Recruitment Day at different schools, Universities and/or events to introduce the company and Cabin Crew position.

- Represent the company at job fairs and other outreach efforts.

- Lead Volotea online and social media strategy in recruiting as well as identifying channels with highest ROI for Volotea

- Review the employee branding strategy in collaboration with HR Department and Strategy.

- Ensure recruitment records are kept in accordance with compliance standards and documented within the applicant tracking system.

- Prepare recruitment documentation, reports and metrics in conformance to established processes.

- Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives such as ensuring Volotea has an appealing value proposition for candidates that is in line with company strategy or developing partnerships with sourcing and training institutions

- Work closely with Volotea HR team in headquarters to support them with different HR projects.

- Support the team on duties related to employee development & retention, assessment centers, health & safety programs and general trainings, Hr Management.

Profile:

Definition

Employees in this job supervise and direct the activities of lower-level staff responsible for warehouse activities. The work requires knowledge of methods and procedures related to the receipt, storage, and requisitions of supplies and materials, and supervisory techniques, personnel policies, and procedures.

Overall Purpose of the Role

Assist the Store Coordinator and Team Leader Purchasing in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast moving environment. Responsible for the day to day management of people within the warehouse function, to ensure company's targets and objectives are  met  to  meet  Maintenance  requirements,  ensuring  that  staff  comply  with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

Profile:

- 5 years of experience working in an Aeronautical warehouse.

- Previous experience as a team leader in charge of at least 3 people

- Fluent English and Italian is an indispensable requisite.

- Current Location in Venice and environs.

- Previous experience in an airline company and/or at the “Marco Polo” Airport will be a plus.

- Knowledge of AMOS is an advantage.

- Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals

- Ensure  that  all  relevant  procedures  and  processes  are  followed  and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements

- Responsible for driving Standard Work and ensuring quality processes are implemented  to  ensure  a  "Right  First  Time"  product  to  our Maintenance aligned with their expectation

- Deliver the product to our Maintenance on time, every time using appropriate met

- Identify errors and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures

- Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues

- In conjunction with the Store Coordinator, implement warehouse and management systems and working practices in line with best practice and continuous improvement

- Supervise the warehouse team and manage day by day warehouse operations
