  • Test requirements

    Passengers aged 5 and older must hold a negative Covid-19 PCR test obtained within 72 hours prior to departure, if they have been in a country not listed below for longer than 12 hours in the last 14 days: Australia, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Malta, Monaco, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Korea (South), Thailand, or the Vatican.

    • The requirement hold a negative Covid-19 PCR test result does not apply to nationals of Czechia (including their family members with a residence permit issued by Czechia), permanent residents of Czechia, and nationals of a European Union member state with a certificate of temporary residence issued by Czechia, provided they have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in Czechia, and can provide a vaccination certificate issued by Czechia, Austria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, or Slovenia, and that they are travelling from the EU+ countries with a medium risk of transmission (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain (Balearic and Canary Islands only), or Switzerland) or the EU+ countries with a high risk of transmission (Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain (excluding Balearic and Canary Islands), and Sweden).

    Passengers aged 5 and older arriving from Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain (excluding Balearic and Canary Islands), or Sweden may submit a negative antigen test obtained within 24 hours prior to departure or a negative PCR test obtained within 72 hours prior to departure.

    • The requirement hold a negative Covid-19 antigen or PCR test result does not apply to nationals of Czechia (including their family members with a residence permit issued by Czechia), permanent residents of Czechia, and nationals of a European Union member state with a certificate of temporary residence issued by Czechia, provided they have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in Czechia, and can provide a vaccination certificate issued by Czechia, Austria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, or Slovenia, and that they are travelling from the EU+ countries with a medium risk of transmission (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain (Balearic and Canary Islands only), or Switzerland) or the EU+ countries with a high risk of transmission (Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain (excluding Balearic and Canary Islands), and Sweden).

    Passengers who are unable to reach test facilities before boarding may travel with antigen tests (not older than 24 hours) or take a PCR test immediately after arrival in Prague Vaclav Havel airport (PRG).

    Passengers travelling from the United Kingdom must hold a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR or antigen test result from an accredited laboratory in the United Kingdom, obtained within 72 hours prior to departure to Czechia. Passengers must quarantine for 10 days on arrival in Czechia and may end quarantine provided a negative Covid-19 test result is received between day 5 to 7 of quarantine.

    Passengers aged 5 and older travelling to from the following countries for work or educational reasons are advised to hold a negative Covid-19 PCR test certificate obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival to submit to their employer or educational institution. Passengers not holding a negative test will not be permitted to enter their workplace or educational institution in Czechia: Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Korea (South), Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal (Madeira and Azores), Singapore, Spain (Balearic Islands and Canary Islands), Thailand, or Vatican City State.
