  • Test requirements

    Passengers aged 6 years or older travelling to Luxembourg must hold one of the following:

    • A negative PCR, TMA or LAMP nucleic acid amplification (NAT) test result obtained from an authorized body within 72 hours prior to departure or a rapid antigen test obtained within 48 hours prior to departure. The test may either be in paper or electronic format, and if necessary, the test certificate must be presented with a translation in Luxembourgish, German, French, English, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese;
    • A vaccination certificate attesting complete vaccination protection carried out with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) (AstraZeneca, BioNTech/Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, and Moderna), issued by a European Union or Schengen Area member state medical authority; or
    • A certificate of recovery issued by a doctor or a national authority of an EU or Schengen Area member state for passengers who had Covid-19 in the last 6 months prior to travel and who have completed the applicable isolation period in the respective country with resolution of all symptoms of infection.
