
VOLOTEA SURPASSES 800,000 MEMBERS IN ITS LOYALTY PROGRAM, MEGAVOLOTEA
The airline closed 2024 with a 23% increase in Megavolotea membership compared to 2023, highlighting the growing appeal of its loyalty program, which marks its 10th anniversary this year.
Volotea also achieved the highest customer satisfaction rating in Europe in 2024, with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 39.2 points and 9 out of 10 Megavolotea members recommending the airline.
Barcelona, April 22nd, 2025 – Volotea, the airline connecting small and mid-sized European cities, reached a new milestone in 2024, surpassing 800,000 members in its loyalty program, Megavolotea. This marks a 23% increase in membership compared to the previous year and reflects the program’s growing appeal and the trust passengers place in the airline. Volotea remains focused on enhancing the travel experience, strengthening its community of frequent flyers, and reinforcing its commitment to customer satisfaction.
In the same year, Volotea achieved the highest customer satisfaction rating among European airlines, with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 39.2—up 23.3% from 2023. Megavolotea members reported even higher satisfaction levels, recording an NPS of 50.5, with 9 out of 10 recommending the airline. In its three key markets, Volotea recorded strong customer satisfaction in 2024: Spain led with an NPS of 43.3 (+5% vs. 2023), followed by Italy at 42.1 (+24% vs. 2023), and France at 38.3 (+35% vs. 2023).
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, Megavolotea has become one of the most valued loyalty programs among frequent travelers. Over the past decade, the program has earned the loyalty of thousands of customers thanks to its exclusive benefits, including discounts on flights, priority boarding, seat selection, checked baggage, and the ability to take cabin luggage on board. Members also enjoy additional perks such as unlimited flight changes at no extra cost and the option to extend all these benefits to up to four travel companions.

Looking to the future, the airline has set an ambitious global NPS target of 50 points for 2025. Key priorities include further strengthening operational performance to ensure top punctuality and high schedule reliability, as well as enhancing customer service—especially in handling delays or cancellations, many of which stem from factors beyond the airline’s control. Volotea is also focused on improving processes both in airports and onboard to deliver a consistently seamless experience.

Volotea is working towards achieving a more sustainable future in aviation. The airline has committed to reducing direct CO2 emissions per passenger-kilometer by 50% by 2030 (vs. 2012) and expects to reach this target between four to five years ahead of schedule.
