We are looking for a SENIOR CAMO ENGINEER, who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is in our Engineering office in Barcelona.

The position is reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Profilo:

- Master Degree Aircraft Engineering or equivalent.

- 5 years’ experience working in an Engineering environment in CAMO.

- EASA Part66 CAT C or B1 is a plus.

- A320 experience, Level 3 course desirable. Boeing 717 experience is a plus.

- Experienced in working with AIRBUS & BOEING manuals and data sources.

- Fluent in Spanish and English is essential.

- Good knowledge of EASA regulations.

- Previous experience within a EASA-OPS approved organization and familiarity with EASA Part M requirements.

- Experience in dealing with AESA and EASA on airworthiness matters

- Methodical, analytical minded and service-oriented.

Capacità:

- Support the Head of Engineering in management, oversight and control of Volotea´s Continued Airworthiness Maintenance Organization in compliance with EASA and AESA requirements and Volotea’s procedures as defined in the CAME and other manuals.

- Act as deputy for Engineering Manager.

- To provide immediate assistance, advice, and technical support to the Head of Engineering, Technical Director and MCC.

- To provide approved data and repair instruction from the Type Certificate Holder in order to support maintenance execution.

- Edition, review and update of the maintenance program, and submission to the authority for approval.

- To provide support and advice to the technical teams during the planning and preparation for base checks and repairs.

- Ensure the compliance of planned maintenance according to the approved maintenance program.

- Evaluation of AD, SB, repairs and non-mandatory modifications ensuring that compliance with these modifications and repairs are according to EASA regulations.

- Implementation of any operational or airworthiness directive and any other requirements for continuous airworthiness issued by the Authority.

- Support in the analysis of the effectiveness of the maintenance program.

- Ensure that the applied modifications or repairs have been approved in accordance with Annex (Part 21) to Regulation (EC) No 1702/2003.

- Issuance of engineering orders and engineering bulletins.

- Determine empty weight and centre of gravity of each aircraft after reweighed, reconfiguration or recalculation and related notification of the Operations Department.

- Support in preparations for end of lease phase out and aircraft phase in are complete, the aircraft are compliant, and that financial exposure is minimized and managed accordingly.

We are looking for four Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) Airbus 319 type rated who are used to interact in different cultural environments, and who want to work in a challenging high-growth environment.

The work place is Verona Line Station (Italy).

Profilo:

- EASA Part 66 Licensed Aircraft Engineer certified on Boeing 717-200. Airbus A320 series will be considered a plus.

- Five Years relevant work and troubleshooting experience.

- Previous experience in aviation MRO environment: Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Technical representative or Airline Engineering.

- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems.

- Good communication skills, able to communicate effectively to all related parties both verbally and written.

- Fluent English spoken & written compulsory. French, Spanish and Italian will be considered a plus.

- Self-disciplined, highly-organized individual able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and cooperative attitude.

- Working knowledge of computer systems and programs (especially AMOS, My Boeing Fleet and Airbus World).

- Flexible, willing to work on 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

- Experience in AIMS will be considered a plus.

- EASA Regulation (Part M, Part 145), EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates in force will be considered a plus.

- Driver’s License.

Capacità:

- Verifying that all work required by the customer has been accomplished during the particular line maintenance activity or work package in accordance with the procedures specified in the Volotea MOE. Also, assess the impact of any work not been carried, and agreeing with the operator to defer such work to another specified check or time limit.

- Verifying that there are no non-compliances that may hazard the flight safety.

- Ensuring that the release certificate and/or technical log statement contains all the necessary details and reference numbers, including details of maintenance which was not completed but allows a return to service within the approved aircraft limitations.

- Verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.

- Ensuring that there is an instruction to the flight crew placed in the technical log where crew actions are necessary to verify aircraft airworthiness.

- Complying with Volotea internal and mandatory reporting requirements.

Offriamo:

As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer you will be in charge of carrying out the line maintenance of Volotea’s B717 fleet, as established by EASA Part 145 and other equivalents from other aeronautical authorities. You will carry out airworthiness maintenance tasks specific to the qualification level of the LAE collective, and carry out support maintenance tasks of the qualification level of the LAE collective in relation to the planning and control of production, data and maintenance records, utilities and tools.

Profilo:

- Very good level of English.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.

- Previous experience in aircraft return/delivery proceedings.

- Ability to understand technical contractual language and derive the implications.

- Ability to discriminate impacting items from lesser ones.

- Ability to multitask and work very fluently with MS Word, Excel and email files.

- Degree in aircraft engineering and/or Part 66 license.

- Following knowledge and experience are pluses:

     o MDC and A320series aircraft

     o AMOS

- Internationally recognized driving license and capable of driving on either side of the road as required by country

Capacità:

- The person is in charge of a comprehensive internal as well as external process discrepancy list, responsible for its ongoing update and distribution of actions as required.

- Performs a detailed technical evaluation of the aircraft and its records as required, comparing them with contractual obligations and listing and tracking detailed discrepancies and related actions.

- Coordinates pre-redelivery preparations within the airline and its suppliers to ensure an on-time, on-budget, compliant return process.

- On behalf of the airline, supervises aircraft return processes with third-party suppliers (MRO’s and engineering providers), reporting and coordinating as required with internal stakeholders, acting as on-site representative during the main return events, including maintenance checks, aircraft inspections, demonstration flights and contractual tracking of return facts and agreements.

- With deep knowledge of aircraft technical and records processes, performs and reports an ongoing risk assessment in achieving his targets.

- Additionally, will act as a flexible resource to the airline’s technical organization, mainly in support of base maintenance events.

- The employee will work in an office environment as well as on-site at event locations, within normal 40-per week office hours, but also occasionally out-of-office hours and/or weekends and different world time zones, as required by his projects.

We are looking for a Finance Controller

Purpose of the Position:

Inside the Finance department of Volotea and reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, the candidate will be in charge of financial controlling and reporting, mainly focusing on Operations control and Business Partnering.

Profilo:

- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Reporting / Controlling / Audit in a leading firm / Finance Business partnering.

- Autonomous with capacity to act under limited supervision. Trustworthy, committed and results driven.

- Business oriented:

        - Capacity to “go beyond the numbers” and adapt storytelling to the different stakeholders.

        - Capacity to “see the business behind the number and the numbers behind the business”.

- Passionate for process optimization, implementation of IT solutions to increase efficiency.

- Previous experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Airline experience valued but not compulsory.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required

Capacità:

        - Efficiently coordinate month-end closing and reporting. Control costs and report deviations and performance
        - Propose and implement process improvement to gain efficiency (leveraging on IT tools)
        - Participate in variances analysis for Board presentation preparation.

        - Develop and follow-up of initiatives to systematically decrease costs, as well as collaborate with functional areas to create a sustainable cost culture

Operations Controller

We are looking for an Operations Controller who is used to interact in different cultural environments, and who wants to work in a challenging maintenance high-growth environment. Volotea currently counts with two fleet with more than 36 aircrafts. This position is key to ensure good relationship with lessors and seamless fleet transition from a financial perspective. 

The work place is Barcelona headquarters. 

Purpose of the Position 

The candidate will be in charge of Operations Financial control, focusing on financial control and accuracy in the relation with Aircraft lessors during the entire “life cycle” of the Aircraft, including: 

      1. Management of all the financial implications of Aircraft deliveries,

      2. Control of heavy maintenance events and reconciliations / negotiations with lessors,

      3. Aircraft redeliveries processes.

      4. Inventory control 

The candidate should possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and manage information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Should have the ability to partner effectively with both the Operations department management (to understand the Operations/Technical implication of the relationship with lessors) and the Finance department (to ensure correct financial accounting and control over these balances) along with having a proactive mindset to make things happen.

Profilo:

-  Ideally Engineer with previous financial experience.

-  Business/Economy background will also be considered if combined with strong interest for the Operations.

-  Minimum 4 years of successful experience in Operations controlling and / or Financial Audit in industrial clients.

-  Knowledge / interest in the airline industry. Previous experience will be positively valued.

-  Familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices and procedures.

-  Proactive, autonomous and results driven professional.

-  Advanced Excel, good knowledge of Powerpoint. Navision is a plus.

-  Fluent English and Spanish compulsory.

Capacità:

-  Guarantee strong Financial Control over lessor management related aspects. Main responsibilities will be focused on:

       -  Coordination and planning of the heavy maintenance events between the operations team and each individual lessor.

       -  Primary point of contact with Aircraft lease service providers for functions related to long term maintenance plan and aircraft deliveries / redeliveries. Key functions include: claim of events, negotiation and reconciliations of the events by aircraft.

       -  Performing lease accounting functions to ensure compliance of lease terms, management of legal issues, and tracking financial obligations for all lease contracts.

       -  Develop a strong knowledge of the heavy maintenance processes, contracts and working relationship with lease service providers.

-  Act as a Finance Business Partner for the Operations team, especially with the Fleet and Maintenance department.

-  Positively and successfully contribute to the strong future growth plans of Volotea supporting its fleet transition from Boeing B717 to Airbus A319.

-  Candidate will have dual reporting to Finance and Operations department.
