Malaga, known as ‘La Bella’ (or ‘the Beautiful’), is a cultural, cosmopolitan, universal, open, relaxed and welcoming city, home to more than thirty museums. It boasts many places of interest, such as the El Palo neighbourhood, with its typical fishermen’s houses and “pescaíto” fried fish, Malagueta beach, the Farola lighthouse and the breakwater, from which you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the city. A little over an hour from Malaga, you have Cordoba, a historic city, which has been declared a World Heritage Site, where art and history are to be found hidden away in alleys, patios and squares. It is mainly known for its unique Mosque, a fine example of the splendour of the Caliphate.
