Tenerife, the island of eternal spring, is the perfect place to relax and have fun. Tours take in the old town and its best-known sights such as the cathedral, the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the Canary Islands Instituto Cabrera Pinto and the Plaza del Adelantado. The historic quarter of La Orotava has been classified as a historical site of interest and the old town of Garachico has been awarded the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts. In Santa Cruz, the island’s capital, the area around the Church of the Immaculate Conception and Calle La Noria is once again thriving.
